In 2024, programmer Spamska joined forces with fellow novice Squid to establish the group 7RM—an acronym for "Seven-Remove," inspired by the beverage 7-Up. Their focus was on curating projects deemed essential for the forthcoming decade of technological advancement. Over time, 7RM evolved into a comprehensive ecosystem, encompassing initiatives such as The Binary Emporium, Bro Needs to Use A Text Editor, and most notably, VINX.
Cnics, a personal project spearheaded by Spamska, received dedicated attention and development. Following several disputes over the name 7RM, the group rebranded as Columbian Software, establishing The Institute of Low-Level Technology (ILLT) as a subsidiary. ILLT was tasked with focusing on Cnics under the newly instituted "New World Program."
Since its inception, ILLT has grown into a decentralized repository of research and low-level educational resources. Its mission is to document machine-level programming comprehensively and make it freely accessible to anyone seeking to learn, thereby fostering an extensive and digestible library of knowledge under the umbrella of Columbian Software.
